Bonus edition: Want to pray with us?
A birth story retreat–and a round-up of our writers’ stories
This week we announced our first virtual retreat from Mothering Spirit!
Coming to you in the comfort of your own home on Nov. 4-6, we’ll be praying through our stories of motherhood’s beginnings in Sing A New Song: A Birth Story Retreat.
Led by Laura Kelly Fanucci, the retreat will dive into Scripture stories from the Psalms to the Gospels to help you pray with your experiences of birth in new ways.
Whether you loved or struggled with birth, whether you gave birth recently or decades ago, birth stories are life-changing. We want to give you the chance to pray through yours.
Come pray with us, meet other mothers, and find a safe space to bring yourself to God. Give yourself (or a friend) the gift of time and space to pray with these sacred stories.
Learn more at Mothering Spirit. Or check out a mini-sample retreat session here.
Sliding scale fees and scholarships are always available. Our patrons can get a discount, too.
